It isn’t till I look at the time, then at my work, and compare the two that I notice an uneasy balance. As usual, the scale tips in favor of time, and the individual that capitalizes on it.
Her eyes watch me move from kitchen cabinets to the fridge door. Her head moves not an inch. She let’s her tounge hang with careless confidence. She’s focused.
Each of us, anonymous characters on the internet, left to our own devices. How we use it, is up to us.
Try to remember; some things are completely out of our control.
Our best bet is actively to seek ways to reduce stress levels.

One whole week. Last Monday, I made a decision to go all the way and put my phone aside for an entire seven days.
Not an easy task, but… I survived.
